The red dot on the tyre is solid, and the yellow dot is hollow. As everyone said, the tyre cannot achieve absolute balance in the manufacturing process. Therefore, the tyre must be inspected before leaving the factory. These two points are marked during the inspection process. If the vibration amplitude exceeds the standard, such tyre are not allowed to leave the factory.
The solid red dot indicates the position with the largest longitudinal vibration of the tyre, that is, the position with the heaviest longitudinal vibration. In technical terms, it is called the center of gravity. As we all know, the tyre will vibrate during rotation, and this position is the point with the greatest vibration. The hollow yellow dot is the opposite of the solid red dot. It indicates the position where the longitudinal vibration of the tyre is the smallest, that is, the position where the longitudinal vibration of the  tyre is the lightest.
Now I will teach you how to install tyre correctly.
1. The side with the dot mark on the tyre is outward.
2. If there are white dots on the wheel hub, align the red dots on the tyrewith the white dots on the wheel hub.
3. If you can't find the mark on the tyre, align the yellow dot with the valve.
